A playful, purposeful, and exciting after-school soccer experience for students in grades TK-5th!

Whether your child is new to the game or already showing early soccer skills, Soccer Stars offers the perfect blend of skill-building, imagination, and teamwork in a nurturing environment right on campus.

Each weekly 60-minute session is thoughtfully designed to help children develop core soccer skills like:
Dribbling
Passing
Shooting
Turning and change of direction
Teamwork and spatial awareness

What sets our program apart?
Our expert coaching staff—many of whom are accomplished players themselves—are also trained in early childhood development. That means they know how to break down soccer techniques in a way that’s fun, encouraging, and tailored to each child’s age and ability.

Kids will learn real soccer skills that build confidence, coordination, and love for the game. Players are grouped by grade or age level, ensuring that every child is supported and challenged appropriately.

Parents are invited to attend our end-of-season jamboree to celebrate your child’s progress and cheer them on from the sidelines.
And of course—every child receives a medal to honor their effort, growth, and participation!

There are no tryouts and no experience needed—just a welcoming, inclusive environment where every child can thrive.

Our #1 goal? To help kids fall in love with the game while developing the foundation for future success—on and off the field.

Spots are limited and this program fills quickly—so don’t miss out!
If it rains, we will add a make-up class or increase class time among remaining soccer classes.

Code your own space missions—Asteroid Dodger, Black Hole Escape, Alien Invader—on Lando's Scratch-based iPad app. Every game starts partly built; students code the rest—fuel meters, alien waves, secret levels—with teachers guiding challenges so no one gets stuck or bored. Classes end with friends playtesting, and after every class families get a challenge report: what we taught, what your student built, and a link to play their game at home—Scratch code included.

Example Classes this Session:
* Asteroid Dodger: Steer through a field of tumbling asteroids that multiply the longer you fly—learning cloning and sensing.
* Black Hole Escape: The closer your ship drifts, the stronger the pull—fire the thrusters at the right moment—learning variables and conditionals.
* Alien Invader: Wave after wave of aliens, each faster than the last, with a score counter tracking every hit—learning loops and randomness.

Class Structure:
* Each class opens with a short group lesson, then six to ten self-paced challenges—beginners master fundamentals while experienced coders sprint to extensions.
* Playtesting closes every class—trade iPads, rebuild from friends' feedback.

Skills & Take-aways:
* Core computer science: conditionals, variables, loops, cloning, and randomness.
* Game design process: build a working version, playtest it, rebuild it better.
* No coding experience needed, just basic reading. Students can take this class more than once—the games change every session.

Awards and Accreditations:

Calling all curious creators, imaginative inventors, and future engineers!

Discover the exciting world of electronics through hands-on experiments, creative building, and engaging engineering challenges! In Creative Electronics, students explore how electricity flows, how circuits work, and how electronic components such as LEDs, motors, buzzers, switches, and batteries work together to power the devices we use every day.

Throughout the program, students will move beyond simply learning about electronics—they will become young engineers who design, build, test, troubleshoot, and improve their own working inventions. From illuminating LEDs and spinning motors to sound-producing devices and touch-free magnetic switches, every lesson introduces a new concept through an exciting, practical challenge.

Each unit ends with a unique take-home project that students design, personalize, and proudly share with family and friends. Along the way, they will strengthen their creativity, problem-solving skills, perseverance, fine-motor skills, and confidence as young inventors.

Our Adventure Map:
Introduction to Electronics – Explore circuits, electrical components, conductors, insulators, and illuminating first builds.
Circuit Foundations – Investigate series and parallel circuits, experiment with switches, and create custom light-up inventions.
Motors in Motion – Discover how electrical energy creates movement through motors, fans, and motion-powered creations.
The Science of Sound – Explore how electronic components produce sound while building buzzers, alarms, and other audio-based projects.
Magnetic Switches – Experiment with magnetism and engineer fascinating touch-free circuits activated by invisible magnetic forces.
Green Power Circuits – Harness energy from the sun to build solar-powered projects while exploring sustainable electronics and renewable energy.

Story-based robotics for grades 2-5. Students build robots and bring them to life with code within stories they help create.

Grades 2-3 build and code an arctic expedition vehicle, a spinning Ferris wheel, a city bus, a soccer game that scores a winning goal, and a rocket ready for launch.

Grades 4-5 join an ocean adventure. They program a sailboat, a lighthouse, a crab, a beach buggy and a tidal power station, and take on real challenges like cleaning up marine debris.

What they learn: block coding step by step, starting with sequences and loops, then events, if/then decisions, and sensors that let robots react. Grades 4-5 advance to variables and a first look at Python.

Creativity in every class: students invent their own story twists, change how their robot behaves, and debug until it works. Quick builds leave more time for coding. Smaller groups and tablets per group help each student get hands-on experience and work at their own level, supported by instructors trained in the Synapse curriculum.

Students will explore the “three tools of the actor” – voice, body, and imagination – while learning how to create characters, think on their feet, and work as a team. Along the way, they’ll discover important life skills such as:
Speaking with clarity and confidence (great for school presentations!)
Using body language and expression to communicate effectively
Overcoming shyness and stage fright
Supporting and encouraging others in a team setting

The program culminates in a fun, informal showcase where students perform short scenes and monologues for family and friends — a celebration of their creativity and growth.

Best of all, this is a program students can take more than once! Each session introduces new games, activities, and performance pieces, ensuring kids are always challenged, inspired, and growing their skills.
