Build the future, one robot at a time.
What if you could build a robot that sees, grabs and sorts objects on its own? Or a car that navigates obstacles like a Mars rover? Students turn those ideas into working robots.
Four builds:
- VEX IQ — autonomous vehicles that detect and avoid obstacles
- LEGO® SPIKE™ Prime — sensors, data and programmed machines
- Drone project — flight, control and safety
- Arduino robotic arm — grabbing, lifting and sorting
Students will:

- Build and program real robots
- Code from block-based to Python and an introduction to C++
- Explore AI and
- Explore AI and machine learning — how machines learn, and how to use these tools wisely
- Test, troubleshoot and improve their own designs
- Build confidence, teamwork and creativity
A pathway, not just a class. Every student finishes with a certificate and a portfolio of robots they built. An entirely optional route leads to VEX IQ Competition and FIRST LEGO League—but the club is built for every student, whether or not they compete.
No experience needed. Just curiosity and a desire to create.
Small groups. All robots, laptops and materials provided. Ends with a family showcase.

I would like you to add more new classes at DPIE. We like the Money Matter class and right now our kids are enjoying the class. Good to add a class with financials like that, then at least they can learn some basic.
