After-School Enrichment at Amador
Our after-school enrichment classes for TK–5th grade students provide the perfect mix of fun, creativity, and learning—all conveniently located on the Amador campus. From arts and STEM to cooking, dance, drama, chess, and more, students can explore new interests, build confidence, develop valuable skills, and make lasting friendships in a safe and supportive environment.
Most classes include 600 minutes of instruction, typically offered as 10 weekly 60-minute sessions. Some specialty classes meet for 90 minutes per session over 9 or 10 weeks, and tuition is adjusted to reflect the additional instructional time.

A solid understanding of money is essential for kids to make smart financial decisions as they grow. Money Matters covers key concepts like budgeting, saving, spending, banking, deposits and withdrawals, interest rates, borrowing, lending, and basic financial markets.
Through interactive activities, students will explore realist currency, create a pop-up bank, and learn about money exchange and circulation by setting up and running a store in the classroom. A playful, purposeful, and exciting after-school soccer experience for students in grades TK-5th!
Whether your child is new to the game or already showing early soccer skills, Soccer Stars offers the perfect blend of skill-building, imagination, and teamwork in a nurturing environment right on campus.
Each weekly 60-minute session is thoughtfully designed to help children develop core soccer skills like:

What sets our program apart?
Our expert coaching staff—many of whom are accomplished players themselves—are also trained in early childhood development. That means they know how to break down soccer techniques in a way that’s fun, encouraging, and tailored to each child’s age and ability.
Kids will learn real soccer skills that build confidence, coordination, and love for the game. Players are grouped by grade or age level, ensuring that every child is supported and challenged appropriately.

Creative Circuits & Interactive Inventions
Can you make a robot’s eyes glow, light up a magical castle, or create a card that sparkles when it opens? In The Spark Lab, students in grades 1–3 combine art, science, and imagination to bring their creations to life with electricity!
Using colorful paper, LEDs, copper tape, batteries, switches, and other fun materials, young inventors create glowing artwork, light-up creatures, interactive cards, illuminated scenes, and playful paper inventions. Every project gives students a new opportunity to design, decorate, experiment, and make something uniquely their own.
As they build, students discover how electricity travels, how circuits make lights turn on, how switches control their creations, and how to find and fix problems when something does not work. Instead of simply hearing about science, students experience it firsthand as they connect, test, and light up their own inventions.
Each class is filled with creative challenges, exciting discoveries, and plenty of “Wow—I made that work!” moments. Along the way, students strengthen their problem-solving, fine-motor skills, perseverance, and confidence as young makers.

Bring code to life with the Micro:bit—a pocket-sized computer packed with lights, buttons, sensors, radio communication, and endless possibilities!
In this hands-on course, students use Microsoft MakeCode to create interactive games, smart gadgets, alarms, wearable technology, and electronic inventions. They learn essential coding concepts while exploring how technology responds to movement, light, temperature, sound, buttons, and touch.
Each class presents an exciting new challenge. Students code, build, test, troubleshoot, and customize their creations. They’ll also connect LEDs, NeoPixels, motors, and buzzers to transform their code into fully interactive inventions.
No previous coding or electronics experience is needed—just curiosity and a desire to create!
