After-School Enrichment at Frederiksen
Our after-school enrichment classes for TK–5th grade students provide the perfect mix of fun, creativity, and learning—all conveniently located on the Frederiksen campus. From arts and STEM to cooking, dance, drama, chess, and more, students can explore new interests, build confidence, develop valuable skills, and make lasting friendships in a safe and supportive environment.
Most classes include 600 minutes of instruction, typically offered as 10 weekly 60-minute sessions. Some specialty classes meet for 90 minutes per session over 9 or 10 weeks, and tuition is adjusted to reflect the additional instructional time.

This winter-themed cooking class invites young chefs in grades 1–5 to explore the cozy flavors and warming foods of the coldest season. Students will learn age-appropriate cooking skills such as measuring, mixing, safe cutting with kid-friendly tools, and following multi-step recipes. The lesson encourages teamwork, creativity, and sensory exploration as students engage with winter themes and ingredients.
Throughout the class, students will experience the joy, colors, and cozy flavors of the holiday season through hands-on cooking - such as Winter Fruit Pudding, Grinch Green Dip, and exciting kabobs shaped into Snowmen! Each recipe highlights seasonal ingredients, winter spices, and colorful elements that allow kids to be creative while keeping the activity healthy, fun, and school-friendly.

Using both block-based coding and Python, students will build a strong foundation in programming as they bring their drones to life.

In this 8-week clay making class, young crafters will work with their hands to make their very own clay items! Using air dry clay and Model Magic, students will build different themed creations each week, such as cat pinch pots, fruits, a tic-tac-toe board, and more. It’s confidence, creativity, and fun with our after-school drama club – The Actor’s Workshop!
Through theater games, acting exercises, and playful scene work, students will build confidence, improve communication skills, and learn how to express themselves in front of others. This beginner-friendly class introduces the fundamentals of acting in a supportive environment where every student gets to shine.
Students will explore the “three tools of the actor” – voice, body, and imagination – while learning how to create characters, think on their feet, and work as a team. Along the way, they’ll discover important life skills such as:
Speaking with clarity and confidence (great for school presentations!)
Using body language and expression to communicate effectively
Overcoming shyness and stage fright
Supporting and encouraging others in a team setting

A playful, purposeful, and exciting after-school soccer experience for students in grades TK-5th!
Whether your child is new to the game or already showing early soccer skills, Soccer Stars offers the perfect blend of skill-building, imagination, and teamwork in a nurturing environment right on campus.
Each weekly 60-minute session is thoughtfully designed to help children develop core soccer skills like:

Turning and change of direction
Teamwork and spatial awareness
What sets our program apart?
Our expert coaching staff—many of whom are accomplished players themselves—are also trained in early childhood development. That means they know how to break down soccer techniques in a way that’s fun, encouraging, and tailored to each child’s age and ability.
Kids will learn real soccer skills that build confidence, coordination, and love for the game. Players are grouped by grade or age level, ensuring that every child is supported and challenged appropriately.
Parents are invited to attend our end-of-season jamboree to celebrate your child’s progress and cheer them on from the sidelines.
