It’s confidence, creativity, and fun with our after-school drama club – The Actor’s Workshop!
Through theater games, acting exercises, and playful scene work, students will build confidence, improve communication skills, and learn how to express themselves in front of others. This beginner-friendly class introduces the fundamentals of acting in a supportive environment where every student gets to shine.
Students will explore the “three tools of the actor” – voice, body, and imagination – while learning how to create characters, think on their feet, and work as a team. Along the way, they’ll discover important life skills such as:
Speaking with clarity and confidence (great for school presentations!)
Using body language and expression to communicate effectively
Overcoming shyness and stage fright
Supporting and encouraging others in a team setting
The program culminates in a fun, informal showcase where students perform short scenes and monologues for family and friends — a celebration of their creativity and growth.
Best of all, this is a program students can take more than once! Each session introduces new games, activities, and performance pieces, ensuring kids are always challenged, inspired, and growing their skills.

Calling all curious creators, imaginative inventors, and future engineers!
Discover the exciting world of electronics through hands-on experiments, creative building, and engaging engineering challenges! In Creative Electronics, students explore how electricity flows, how circuits work, and how electronic components such as LEDs, motors, buzzers, switches, and batteries work together to power the devices we use every day.
Throughout the program, students will move beyond simply learning about electronics—they will become young engineers who design, build, test, troubleshoot, and improve their own working inventions. From illuminating LEDs and spinning motors to sound-producing devices and touch-free magnetic switches, every lesson introduces a new concept through an exciting, practical challenge.
Each unit ends with a unique take-home project that students design, personalize, and proudly share with family and friends. Along the way, they will strengthen their creativity, problem-solving skills, perseverance, fine-motor skills, and confidence as young inventors.
Our Adventure Map:
Introduction to Electronics – Explore circuits, electrical components, conductors, insulators, and illuminating first builds.
Circuit Foundations – Investigate series and parallel circuits, experiment with switches, and create custom light-up inventions.
Motors in Motion – Discover how electrical energy creates movement through motors, fans, and motion-powered creations.
The Science of Sound – Explore how electronic components produce sound while building buzzers, alarms, and other audio-based projects.
Magnetic Switches – Experiment with magnetism and engineer fascinating touch-free circuits activated by invisible magnetic forces.
Green Power Circuits – Harness energy from the sun to build solar-powered projects while exploring sustainable electronics and renewable energy.

Make a sloth wake from its nap, a bird beat its wings, a dinosaur stomp—this session, every machine is a critter. Students build in LEGO and Technic with real motors, gears, cams, and light sensors, and every build grows in levels: build it, motorize it, level it up. Teachers keep each challenge just right so no one gets stuck or bored, and after every class families get a challenge report with photos of exactly what your student built.
Example Classes this Session:
* Sleepy Sloth: A sloth that dozes on its branch and wakes with a wave of your hand—learning how light sensors trigger motion.
* Early Bird: A bird whose wings really beat, powered by one spinning motor—learning how linkages carry motion.
* Stomping Dino: A dinosaur that stomps forward on its own, one heavy foot at a time—learning how cams turn spinning into stomping.
Class Structure:
* Each class is an arcade of levels built from one daily challenge—eight ways to beat each build, from first version to motorized extensions.
* Build, test, rebuild until it works—then team up with friends to tackle bigger builds.
Skills & Take-aways:
* Real engineering concepts: power transmission, cams and linkages, sensors, load and balance, design thinking.
* Engineering process: define the job, build a version that works, then rebuild it to do more.
* No experience needed. Students can take this class more than once—the critters change every session.
Awards and Accreditations:
* Lando is a WASC-accredited program with awards including STEM.org Best in STEM, Academics' Choice, and Parents' Picks.
* ESSA Tier IV certified through academic partnerships with Leanlab and Northwestern, affirming measurable learning outcomes.
Safety and Communication:
* Sign-in and sign-out texts let you know your builder is safe, and a local coordinator is reachable by text during class.
* iPads run our build app on local Wi-Fi—no web browsing.

A playful, purposeful, and exciting after-school soccer experience for students in grades TK-5th!
Whether your child is new to the game or already showing early soccer skills, Soccer Stars offers the perfect blend of skill-building, imagination, and teamwork in a nurturing environment right on campus.
Each weekly 60-minute session is thoughtfully designed to help children develop core soccer skills like:
Dribbling
Passing
Shooting
Turning and change of direction
Teamwork and spatial awareness
What sets our program apart?
Our expert coaching staff—many of whom are accomplished players themselves—are also trained in early childhood development. That means they know how to break down soccer techniques in a way that’s fun, encouraging, and tailored to each child’s age and ability.
Kids will learn real soccer skills that build confidence, coordination, and love for the game. Players are grouped by grade or age level, ensuring that every child is supported and challenged appropriately.
Parents are invited to attend our end-of-season jamboree to celebrate your child’s progress and cheer them on from the sidelines.
And of course—every child receives a medal to honor their effort, growth, and participation!
There are no tryouts and no experience needed—just a welcoming, inclusive environment where every child can thrive.
Our #1 goal? To help kids fall in love with the game while developing the foundation for future success—on and off the field.
Spots are limited and this program fills quickly—so don’t miss out!
If it rains, we will add a make-up class or increase class time among remaining soccer classes.
