This summer, take on new challenges, build skills, and have a blast in our action-packed camps designed just for middle schoolers! Whether you love sports like archery, badminton, basketball, and pickleball, want to express yourself through hip-hop dance, acting, and filmmaking, or are eager to explore coding, writing, and computer science, we’ve got something for you.
With expert instructors, hands-on activities, and a fun, supportive environment, you’ll stay active, get creative, and make new friends while doing what you love. Push your limits, discover new interests, and make this summer unforgettable!
All our camps are on Fallon Middle School campus with various start time from 8:30am and available for Rising 6th to 9th Grade. Enroll your student as they would be for the 2026-27 school year. Please note no camps on June 19 & July 3, 2026.

In this three-week Summer Theater Camp, students will explore the fundamentals of acting in a play, build confidence, and create lasting friendships while working together on a magical production of Aladdin and the Wonderful Lamp. In this fun and lively twist on the classic tale, Aladdin discovers a magical lamp and summons a genie who can grant his every wish… or can he? This exciting comedy-adventure brings plenty of laughs and opportunities for students to bring characters to life in a supportive, creative environment. Open to students in grades 3–9, the camp offers a variety of age-appropriate roles so every participant can find their place in the spotlight. Early Bird End Date: 05/27/2026 Students will enjoy exploring a variety of projects that combine the jewelry technique of wire wrapping and a variety of beads. Along with wire wrapping techniques, students will learn basic jewelry skills and art concepts to enhance their projects. We will have fun with projects such as the viral beaded plant, tree of life, beaded sun catcher, mini flower bouquets, and more! Join us for a fun filled week of projects that are sure to be treasured! Projects may be adjusted based upon the skill set of students enrolled. ($25 materials fee included in Tuition)

This program is designed for students interested in learning or developing their skills on flute, oboe, clarinet, saxophone, trumpet, trombone, and tuba. Students will enjoy playing along to popular movie tunes while building a strong musical foundation in a fun and supportive setting. Who Can Join: What Students Will Learn: Through a mix of guided instruction and group practice, students will build confidence and quickly develop essential band skills. Early Bird End Date: 05/27/2026 June 9th to July 13th - 5 days (8 hours) Instructor: Mr Nick Zarcone, Fallon Middle School Teacher Whether you are a skilled player with years of experience or brand new to the game, this course is for you. Attending this class will help improve each player’s fundamentals. The program will teach the game of basketball and make it fun at the same time. We begin each day with our foundational station work with individual attention given to each player. Students will be taught the proper offensive techniques of shooting, dribbling, and passing. This course will also emphasize the defensive skills of a proper stance, footwork, positioning, and rebounding. Additionally, players will learn offensive and defensive set pieces. As the course progresses, we will divide into groups based on skill level and play enjoyable and competitive games and crown a champion. We will make this an enjoyable experience where teamwork, character, and a positive attitude are emphasized.
Early Bird End Date: 05/27/2026 June 8th to June 12th - 5 days "Basketball for All Ability Levels" Whether you are a skilled player with years of experience or brand new to the game and want to work on fundamentals, this course is for you. We will spend the first portion of class working on shooting, passing, dribbling and defensive drills. Next, we will divide into groups based on skill level and play enjoyable and competitive games and crown a champion. This class will have a fun and friendly atmosphere, where students can learn and refine all areas of their game.
Early Bird End Date: 05/27/2026 June 8th-12th - Daily Make your move this summer! Join Pacific Chess Academy and experience a fun, engaging and strategy packing chess adventure. Kids are divided into groups based on the knowledge of chess. Daily activities include easy to follow interactive lessons, various tournaments (chess, bughouse, SacCity, blitz, Giant Chess) and outdoor games. Each participant receives a trophy at the end of camp.

This fun and engaging class is perfect for beginners and experienced players alike. Students will learn the fundamentals of table tennis, including grips, forehand and backhand strokes, serving, and basic strategy for both singles and doubles play. Through drills, rallies, and friendly competition, players will build skills, improve hand-eye coordination, and gain confidence in a supportive environment. Players are grouped by skill level and will have the opportunity to grow their game while having fun and making new friends.

Join our fun and engaging pickleball course, perfect for beginners and experienced players alike! Learn and refine fundamental skills like grip, positioning, and shot selection while building strategy and court awareness. Through drills, games, and friendly competition, players will improve their skills and enjoy the social, fast-growing sport of pickleball.
Early Bird End Date: 05/27/2026 Performance - Thursday June 18 at Fallon If you like to play cool music with a groove that makes you tap your foot, click your fingers, or just get up and dance, then come and join our Summer School Jazz Band Class. The Jazz Band will explore and perform many jazz styles, including swing, Latin, Light Rock, Funk, and Big Band. The Jazz Band class will be taught by Mr. Erik Bertelson who was named the 2023 NBC Sports Teacher of the Year for his outstanding work with music students. • Students will also learn how to creatively improvise with the "Blues." • Students should have at least one year of previous experience with their instrument. • The Jazz Band will have a performance on the last day of the session. Note. The class will provide drum sets, pianos and guitar amplifiers all other instruments need to be supplied by students. Student musicians who have at least one year of experience playing those instruments or the instruments listed below are encouraged to enroll in this course. Early Bird End Date: 05/27/2026 Confident speakers know how to express their ideas clearly and persuasively! This dynamic camp helps students build essential skills in leadership, public speaking, debate, critical thinking, and financial literacy. Students will learn a simple 6-step approach to writing and presenting, gaining confidence as they tackle impromptu speech and debate topics. They’ll practice forming strong arguments, supported by clear reasoning and evidence. In addition, students will explore money management concepts, including saving, budgeting, and smart spending. They’ll also be introduced to entrepreneurship by creating and presenting their own business project. This is a fun, engaging, and empowering camp designed to build confidence, communication skills, and real-world knowledge!

Our Math Olympiad Summer Program is designed for students entering 4th and 5th grades who want to strengthen their problem-solving skills and prepare for exciting math competitions. What Students Will Learn: About Math Olympiad: Why Join This Summer Program: Students who continue with a Math Olympiad team may also have opportunities to compete in regional tournaments, including: Top performers at regional competitions may even qualify for national-level events, such as those hosted at UC Berkeley. This summer program is perfect for students who enjoy math, love a challenge, and want to build strong problem-solving skills while having fun.
Early Bird End Date: 05/27/2026 Taught by Priscilla Barton, Emerald High School Teacher with DUSD Prepare for SAT success with this focused 5-session course designed to build confidence and improve scores. Students will develop effective test-taking strategies, sharpen time management skills, and review essential concepts in both math and verbal sections. A course workbook will be provided ahead of time, along with targeted practice assignments to reinforce each lesson. Open to middle and high school students, the program also includes guidance and tutoring support from EHS Engineering Society volunteers.
