In recognizing the impact of adversity on shaping an individual’s resilience and determination, it becomes evident that those who have faced significant challenges in their lives, whether stemming from familial hardships, financial constraints, or other adverse circumstances, often display a tenacity towards achieving academic success.
It is through their perseverance and unwavering commitment to forging a brighter path for themselves that they demonstrate an admirable resolve to overcome obstacles and pursue higher education or technical training. By acknowledging and supporting these individuals in their pursuit of a better future, we not only empower them to realize their aspirations but also affirm our belief in the transformative power of education as a catalyst for personal and societal advancement.
DPIE is offering one $2500 scholarship to one deserving student.
Scholarship Criteria
Applications will be awarded based on the following criteria:
- Community Service & Involvement
- School Participation
- 2.5 GPA or Higher
- Financial Need
- Likelihood of Future Success in Academics or Vocational Pursuits
