A 50’s Soda Shoppe, “The Day of the Dead, James Bond Style”, Camp Parks, the Eiffel Tower and Snow White & the Seven Dwarfs. What do they all have in common? DPIE’s 10th Annual Celebrity Waiter Fundraising Event.
On October 22nd, Head Waiter Mayor David Haubert and his crew of 17 Celebrity Waiters provided a lively, creative evening of fundraising for their (and thankfully, our) 220 guests. Middle Schoolers showed us the “swing” and ClubSport “gave us 10” for added entertainment. Everyone knows it takes a village to produce an event. To our Premier Partners: CallidusCloud; Fremont Bank; Kaiser Permanente; Chevron and Amador Valley Industries, we thank you for supporting our mission to serve the students of the Dublin Unified School District. Speaking of the District, our new Superintendent, Leslie Boozer brought her entourage of Seven Dwarfs! With a “Hi Ho and off to Work We Go”, over $50,000 was raised to support programs and projects for 2017! Thank you to all of our volunteers. Our lives are all busy and we know you could be doing a million other things. But, you chose to spend the evening with us. We are already looking forward to our next event – Save the Date!
