Fifty students from Emerald High School visited FormFactor, a leading semiconductor test and measurement company in Livermore, through DPIE Connects—a Dublin Partners in Education (DPIE) program that connects classroom learning with real-world career experiences.
The visit began with a welcome from a senior manager in the Product Solutions team, who introduced students to the semiconductor industry through an overview of FormFactor and a hands-on look at components used in wafer manufacturing and testing. A manager from the Principal Product Marketing team then led an engaging panel with engineers, giving students the opportunity to ask questions and explore different career paths in engineering and manufacturing.
Students also toured multiple facilities, met engineers and manufacturing teams, and saw firsthand how FormFactor’s precision tools are used to test the chips that power everyday devices.
This experience was made possible through collaboration across several teams, including Product Integration, A&T and Yield Engineering, Product Marketing, the People Team, Facilities, IT, and more.
