Learn chess with Pacific Chess Academy!
Offered to all levels (Beginners, Intermediate, Advanced) this program is a great opportunity for kids to learn how to overcome obstacles, think strategically, cultivate champion psychology, stay focused, and make new friends.
Each lesson consists of interactive instructions, analysis, and tournament games during which students play against each other. Lessons are fun and easy to follow and include individual instructions to practice at home. Kids are provided with all necessary chess equipment for lessons (boards, pieces, clocks, demonstration tools).
Additional online sessions (two per semester) will help students to improve their skills and become decent chess players in no time. In-person tournaments are organized at the end of each semester- all participants get trophies! Our students can enjoy a FREE application PACIFIC CHESS ACADEMY, easily downloadable from AppStore, to play against friends or computers, solve puzzles and participate in online tournaments. The Leaderboard allows parents to monitor their children’ progress.

Money Matters - Personal Finance for Kids is an exciting and hands-on course that aims to teach students the basics of financial literacy in a fun and engaging way. We will teach kids how to differentiate between needs and wants, helping them make thoughtful spending decisions every time. This course doesn’t just teach the “what” of money—it focuses on the “how” and “why” encouraging critical thinking and real-world application.
Through a blend of interactive activities, games, and hands-on projects students will explore the basics of money identification, budgeting, saving, spending, debit, credit, banking, and much more. They’ll create their own piggy banks to develop a habit of saving and build an ATM to bring financial concepts to life. Join this unique, fun, and interactive course to enhance your financial literacy. While our national report card shows many states earning a ‘C’ grade or worse for personal finance education, this course aims to fill the gap. Students will start their financial awareness journey from ancient bartering systems to modern blockchain technology based currencies such as Bitcoin.
Students will develop an understanding of key concepts such as currency, exchange rates, interest rate sensitivity, supply and demand, needs and wants, budgeting, taxes, and net worth. Through engaging activities and practical lessons, students will build a solid foundation in personal finance, equipping them with essential skills for a financially savvy future.

This class is specially designed for kids with a good understanding of a checkmate and basic knowledge of chess tactics (forks, pins, discovered check).
The main goal of the program for intermediate students is to introduce basic chess strategies, and teach children how to overcome obstacles and understand various positions. Children will be able to develop a variety of skills that can be applied to everyday life including problem-solving, concentration, critical thinking, and creativity.
Lessons consist of chess instructions, tournament games, and analysis. Students are provided with all necessary equipment for lessons- boards, pieces, clocks, and demonstration tools. Each participant receives individual recommendations on how to improve playing skills and get ready for tournaments.

At Soccer Stars, we use the soccer ball as the vehicle to help children improve their soccer skills, build self-confidence in the game of soccer and life, and learn what it means to be a good teammate both on and off the field.
Our curriculum was developed by early childhood educators and soccer professionals. Our structured classes teach soccer FUNdamentals through imagination and play--each class has a theme (i.e. the beach, outer space, race track) which makes learning fun! Our coaches are patient and a ton of fun; they not only love working with children, but also enjoy developing these skills in a nurturing and non-competitive environment!
In our 3rd-5th grade program, players will improve their creative capacity through technical skill development and small-sided games. This allows for freedom of expression with the ball—a vital concept is emphasized with the introduction of 1v1 dribbling and defending games. The addition of opponents allows the player to make decisions under pressure. High repetition ball control activities help each player become more proficient with the ball. *Each child will receive a Super Soccer Stars Medal at the end of the season.
Communication: Each week, you’ll receive an email outlining what your child is learning in class, including the specific skills they’re focusing on. We encourage you to use this as a conversation starter to ask your child about their day. It’s laughter, learning and limelight with the After School Drama Club - The Actor’s Workshop! Through a fun series of theater games, acting exercises and scripted scene work, this introductory acting class teaches the fundamentals of the actor’s craft. Students explore the “three tools of the actor” – voice, body and imagination – as they learn how to create characters, interpret scripts and perform for an audience. The class teaches true theater skills such as stagecraft, emotionally truthful acting, and professional theater etiquette, while encouraging creativity and inspiring the imagination. The class culminates with a workshop presentation of scenes and monologues for an invited audience.
Take it once or take it again and again! Students are encouraged to repeat the program several times. While the overall objectives remain the same, there are always new games, new activities and new performance scenes to keep the program varied and interesting. As students progress through successive iterations of the program, they continue to work on more sophisticated material in order to ensure that their skills continue to grow and that they are being appropriately challenged.

Students explore how authors use emotions, logic, and evidence to persuade readers to accept their argument. Instructors practice confidence techniques with examples to introduce students to understanding their thoughts through drawing, writing, and group discussions. Students have the opportunity to express their thoughts in both written and illustrated formats, to help them understand how to persuade their readers effectively. This program elicits students’ writing by blending hands-on STEM activities (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math) where students write about what they observe in class. Focused on interdisciplinary learning, students will explore exciting STEM concepts like chemical reactions using the balloon inflation experiment, flight mechanics through building paper airplanes, and motion physics through activities like straw rockets while developing critical thinking and writing skills. Each week, students in grades 1-5 will participate in interactive experiments and express their observations and hypotheses, blending English language arts with STEM learning to enhance conceptual understanding and personal expression.

Instead of burning out on repetitive coding puzzles, Lando students design multiple mini-games each class—building confidence and creative thinking with every line of code. From maze racers to simple platformers, each class lets your student experiment, collaborate, and explore coding concepts—like sequencing, variables, conditionals, and events—while having fun.
Progress You Can See (and Play!) You’ll get links to your student’s creations soon after each class, so they can show off their creations and even continue building at home.
Built for Beginning to Intermediate Coders. Students work at their own pace, tackling 3 to 6 mini-games per class, scaled to their skill level. Our custom, distraction-free software is built on the Scratch programming language and pairs with teacher expertise to adapt to newcomers or those with semesters of previous coding experience—so everyone feels challenged but never overwhelmed.

The FIRST® LEGO® League (FLL) has been motivating children to research, experiment, build, and solve real-world challenges through robotics to gain a deep understanding of STEM in a friendly and collaborative environment. Not only do children learn robotics, coding, and engineering, but they also brainstorm and research innovative real-world projects and ideas while working in a team.
Every year, the FLL creates a new challenge focused on two segments. One aspect of the challenge involves precise robotic navigation, and the other aspect of the challenge focuses on research and problem solving. This class will introduce children to both of these aspects of the FLL contest. The idea is to get children motivated and prepared to participate in the national FLL challenge and eventually, to help them do well in these contests.
This class has been designed by Compuchild’s outstanding team members with PhDs, EdDs, children’s librarians, investment bankers, and big-six consultants.

This course is a fun and engaging after-school library reading hour designed to spark a love for reading in our youngest students. The program features a variety of materials, ranging from picture books to simple text, allowing children to explore characters, plots, and dialogue in an interactive way. Children also get an opportunity to stretch their limbs, move their muscles, and engage in kinesthetic activities.
The teacher engages every student in the weekly theme, reading various genres, from exploring all four seasons and gardening to rainbows and colors and celebrating friendship and kindness. After each story, students participate in discussions and creative activities like coloring and learning new vocabulary. They also move and interact with the story through physical activities, helping to reinforce learning. Our curriculum is designed to meet the individual needs of young learners, fostering a deeper understanding of how stories shape thoughts, values, and emotions while encouraging a love of reading. This course combines both mind and body experiences.

Welcome to Creative STEM: Blending STEM and ART, where innovation and imagination come together! This program is designed to inspire curiosity and hands-on learning by combining Art with Science, Math, Technology, History, and Engineering in engaging and meaningful ways.
Our curriculum experts have thoughtfully developed lesson plans catering to the diverse needs of all students. Each week introduces engaging themes and creative projects that inspire curiosity and encourage hands-on learning. Grade-level attention will be given to ensure each student engages meaningfully with the projects, builds confidence, and progresses at their own pace. From building Mini Robots and creating a Liquid Density Tower to constructing an Archimedes Paper Roll Screw, students will engage in fun and meaningful activities. Students in this digital age will need to have computational thinking abilities as computer programming has become an essential skill used in almost any profession you choose. "Python for young minds" is aimed at introducing young elementary students to think logically, enhance problem-solving skills and think creatively. We believe coding skills are going to be part of an essential set of skills and will also give a competitive edge in times to come. Python is kid-friendly and beginners language, as Python has natural language like structures, which enables kids to grasp programming concepts easily and keeps them interested. We also intend to keep learning fun and interesting through code challenges and interactive projects.
