DPIE Scholarship Endowment Funds

Securing Scholarships for Dublin Students

We are delighted to announce the launch of our new endowment funds which will ensure that the Edy Colemen Service Scholarships and the Haggerty Nursing, Paramedic and EMT Scholarships will be funded for the foreseeable future and given to graduating Dublin Seniors every year.

Why the Edy Coleman Service Scholarship?

Edy Colman

Edy Coleman, a long-time DPIE Board member and past President, created two scholarships to graduating seniors in the Dublin Unified School District.

Edy will be remembered as a heartfelt friend, a beautiful woman inside and out, and for her selfless dedication to serving the community at large. She understood that not all lessons are taught in the classroom and when you pursue a life of service, you often receive more than you give. This scholarship is the best way to honor Edy's memory.

What is the Haggery Nursing, Paramedic and EMT Scholarship Opportunity?

Scott Haggerty

In honor of former District 1, Alameda County Supervisor Scott Haggerty, who made it possible for us to fund this scholarship for many years to come, DPIE offered for the first time in 2021, the Haggery Nursing, Paramedic and EMT Scholarship. He has great respect for men and women who work on the front lines every day to save lives. These scholarships will be rewarded to graduating seniors in the Dublin Unified School District.
