DPIE Offering Online Tutoring Support

We are pleased to announce that during the 2020 Distance Learning DPIE Summer Academy, we will be providing DHS HUB tutoring services to our enrolled students.  We realize that online distant learning is different to our traditional Summer Academy and we want to help our students succeed, therefore, we are offering this tutoring service at no additional cost.

Who can use the Tutoring Service?   We have broken our enrolled students into 2 groups:

  1. Algebra 1, Algebra 2, Biology, Pre-Calculus and Math Course 3 Students
  2. Geometry Students

When?   All sessions are Monday - Friday from 4 - 6pm starting now, through to the end of Summer Academy.

How to gain access?    The tutoring service is via Webex calls.  All students should have received an email from either DPIE or Jean Josey of the Hub with the Webex Link.  If you have not received your link, please email JoseyJean@dublinusd.org and let her know which subject course you are enrolled in.

We hope you will all be patient with us as our teachers gain their footing in this world of distance learning and thank you to all of you for your support.

COVID-19 DPIE UPDATE - 03/13/2020

Dear Parents

Today we learned that the Dublin School Board, at the recommendation of Superintendent Dave Marketn, made the decision to close all schools effective Monday, March 16 through Sunday April 12.  We understand that it was a prudent decision to make in response to the COVID-19 pandemic.

All of us at DPIE share your concern for your children's safety and we are staying in daily communication with the school district so we can keep abreast of all updates and decisions made by the school district leadership.

We are making contingency plans for our After School Program and we will be updating you as we receive new information.  Currently, our plans are to review our course schedules and continue with the After School STEAM classes beginning on Monday, April 13 when schools re-open.  All plans will be subject to the school district's precautions regarding the safety of our children.

Please be patient as we work through this unprecedented time in our history.

DPIE Board Members with DUSD Board Members

Dublin Partners in Education is delighted to donate $226,000 this school year to the Dublin Unified School District.  Part of this money is a $150,000 CARE Grant for technology that will benefit all Dublin Schools.  We donate for PSAT testing for all 9th, 10th and 11th Graders at Dublin High School as well as supporting other programs at schools such as Middle School Career Fairs and giving back to all 8 Elementary Schools.

Help Us Make a Difference in 2019

As the educational foundation for the Dublin Unified School District (DUSD), we support programs which allow the 12,000+ students who attend the 12 DUSD schools to discover their potential, expand their classroom learning, and explore educational opportunities outside their textbooks. We succeed because of the generosity of our community and our programs are only limited by the amount we are able to raise.

There are five months left in the school year with a lot to accomplish and we are asking our community members to consider a donation to our organization which will directly support all DUSD students. With a minimum donation of $35 you will receive an "I am a Dublin Partner in Education" car magnet.

Michael Utsumi, our Funding & Programs Coordinator will reach out to each qualifying donor to make arrangements to deliver your car magnet.
