In this exciting summer program, we're thrilled to offer an immersive experience that mirrors the quality and depth of learning you'd find in our regular semester Mandarin Immersion classes. Our goal remains steadfast: to provide a rich and engaging environment where students can learn, practice, and excel in Mandarin Chinese.

As the theme is centered around food, our courses are designed to engage participants' five senses and six perceptions. Students will have the opportunity to see, feel, smell, hear, and taste(possibly) the food.
The classes are designed to expand students' culinary knowledge and appreciation for Chinese cuisine. Integrate cooking sessions or tasting activities, exploring a variety of Chinese dishes and their cultural significance. (For example, northern Chinese people usually like to eat flour-made food, and southern Chinese like to eat rice-made food. These preferences are influenced by the distinct geographic and cultural environments.)
Considering the physical and food safety of students, we will not have any hot and electric cooking pots in the classroom. Only pre-made food is provided, such as to use washed fruit, to let students make sweet Chinese-style snacks.
*If there are potential food allergies among some students, we will consider the use of alternative materials such as playdough, clay, and colored paper, providing a creative and safe substitute for culinary activities.

People believe that the enlightenment of one's perception of the outside world often begins with mythological tales during early childhood. Those stories lay the foundation for our initial worldview and values. Moreover, these stories spark imagination, foster creativity, and instill important lessons about morality and empathy. Through these myths, children learn about cultural traditions and values, helping them develop a deeper understanding of the world around them.
