Haggerty Nursing, Paramedic and EMT Scholarship Opportunity
This scholarship is in honor of former District 1 Alameda County Supervisor Scott Haggerty who made it possible for us to fund this scholarship for many years to come. He has great respect for men and women who work on the front lines every day to save lives. We are offering two (2) $1,000 scholarships to graduating seniors in the Dublin Unified School District.
Scott has served the Alameda County & the Bay Area region over the last 24 years after he was first elected in 1996. He has served on a host of boards and commissions, including the Metropolitan Transportation Commission, the Bay Area Air Quality Management District, the San Joaquin Regional Rail Commission and the Livermore Amador Valley Transit Authority.

Scholarship Criteria
Applications will be awarded based on the following criteria:
- Pursuing a Nurse, Paramedic and/or EMT Program
- School Participation
- 2.5 GPA or Higher
- Financial Need
How to Apply
All applicants must complete the online application and include their most recent transcript. A letter of recommendation is also required. The letter should clearly indicate the name and occupation of the individual who wrote the letter of recommendation, as well as the nature of their relationship to the applicant.
In addition to answering the questions on the the application, please provide a brief autobiographical statement which you will be able to type directly into the online application or upload a file (not to exceed two typed pages).
